School Year Club Hours: Early Bird Programs: 6:30 - 8:30 am. M - F; Saturday hours for special events only.
School Year Regular Club Hours: 2:15 - 6:30 p.m. M - F for children Grades 1 - 5 & 2:15 - 6:00 p.m. M - F for Grades 6+
School Year Days-Off from School Hours: 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Office Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. M - F
Late pick-up: $5 for the first 15 minutes, $1 for each additional minuteafter that.
Effective April 27, 2007 if you are not able to pay the late pick-up fee when you pick up your child, your child will not be able to attend any Club programming until it is paid.

Membership Requirements & Cost:
Membership is open to all youth 6 - 18 years of age. (Members 6 years old must be in 1st grade)
Regular youth Membership (Effective 8/1/2007): $ 30 per year (Entitles youth to use the club during regular club hours)
Financial assistance and membership forms are available upon request and through the Registration tab of this website. Remember that financial aid availability is limited.
A one time visitor pass will be issued for potential new members. The cost is $2. After that time, the child must become a member to participate in club activities. All programs require an active membership.

All new members in grades 1 – 5 and at least one parent/guardian should attend a new member orientation before participating in club activities.  Orientations are strongly recommended if a child will be attending the Club on a regular basis. New Member Orientation can be set up for week nights after 7:00pm if a staff member is available to conduct an orientation.  To set up an orientation or if you have questions please contact Mike Stevens, Program Director mstevens@salembgc.org or (603) 898-7709 ext. 14.

Guidance and Discipline Policy:
The goal of the Boys and Girls Club of Salem, NH is to provide a safe environment for all children. It is expected that every member and parent or guardian treats the club with respect and demonstrates proper behavior. Parents/guardians and Club members must sign a Discipline Policy before attending the club. This form is covered and made available at Orientation.

Sign - in / Sign out Procedure & ID Cards:
Sign-In: All members must sign-in at the front desk upon entering the building
Sign-Out: All members must sign-out with a parents/guardians signature Sign in/ out procedure is for the benefit of members and parents and is each members responsibility.
As of 2008, we have incorporated membership identification cards. Children grades 6 and up will receive a membership card with their picture on it. They must scan in upon entry and out when leaving. Parents will receive cards for children grades 5 and under. We ask that they scan their children in if they are dropping them off and out when picking them up.

Early Bird After School Enrichment
After-School Enrichment & Early Bird (Transportation):

The club provides transportation to and from all Salem public and private elementary schools. Transportation spots are limited according to school. For more information on this service, click here.


Summer Camp:

Camp runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm with *extended hours of 6:30am to 6:00pm (*no additional cost). Activities include field trips, swimming, arts & crafts, outdoor & gym games, games room, and more. Children are divided up into groups by the grade they will be entering in Fall. Field trips are included in the camp fee.
Camp starts in June and runs nine to ten weeks until August. For more information on this service, click here.

VACATION, HOLIDAY, TEACHER-IN SERVICE & SNOW DAYS INFO:

The club is open to members on several days when children are not in school. Please check the links below for more information:

Parents may bring members only to fun swim on one of these days. Please call ahead for times and costs.

Please try to be prompt in picking up your child(ren) as a late fee can be assessed for those children, who remain at the Club after the scheduled pick-up time.
