2008/2009 After-School Enrichment &
Early Bird Registration
The Boys & Girls Club of Salem provides
before and after school services for members grades 1-12. Children in grades 1-6
attending Salem schools have the option to register for transportation to/from
school by club buses.
*Early Bird (Before-school care/transportation) starts
on the first day of school and runs through the last day of school.
(Hours: 6:30AM until bus departure for school)
*After-school enrichment includes transportation from school. The program
starts on September 2nd, 2008 and ends on Friday June 12th, 2009. (Hours:
school dismissal - 6:00PM)
This year we will have online sign-ups and an improved online monthly payment
feature. We are also offering 2,3, & 4 day pre-paid packages if bus spots remain
AFTER general monthly registration.
NEW!!!: For every month up until February you
pay online before the payment deadline,
you will be entered to win free tuition for our 2009 Summer Camp. All participants that pay in full
for the entire school year will be entered for each month automatically (10 times). The drawing will take place in February 2009.
Transportation & Early Bird Policy
Our Financial Policies are outlined below: PLEASE
READ CAREFULLY!
• Enrollment is limited and registrations will be taken on a FIRST COME/FIRST
SERVED basis.
• All enrollments must be current members of the Boys & Girls Club.
• Membership fee is $30 per year and is non-refundable. THIS FEE IS
NOT INCLUDED IN THE ONLINE PAYMENT! Please call 603-898-7709 ext.22

you are unsure about your child's membership status.
• Any attempt to register with a past-due balance will result in your payment
going towards your past due balance and forfeit of registration until all
overdue balances are paid.
• All on-line registrations will be confirmed by e-mail.
• All participants are required to attend an orientation to have their photo
taken for ID cards.
• A non-refundable first month's payment is required for registration.
• School's request that you submit your Boys & Girls Club confirmation
before school starts with any alterations in bus schedule (i.e.- "only
taking club bus on Mon & Wed, being picked up on Tues").
• All Early Bird participants are required to fill out additional
paperwork which can be picked up at the club's front office.
• Each monthly payment must be paid in full by the fifteenth day of
the month prior to transportation service. Your child will not be
allowed aboard a Boys & Girls Club vehicle until payment is made for that
month.
• A $25 fee will be assessed for all late payments received after the fifteenth
of the month.
• The monthly fee includes holidays (when the club is open), snow
days, vacation weeks, & teacher in service days. This does not apply to
per day registrations.
Pricing - Monthly (reserves
a spot for the school year)
• After-School Enrichment will be $180 per month
• Early Bird will be $140 per month
• After-School Enrichment & Early Bird combined will be $320 per month
• includes holidays (when the club is open), snow days, vacation weeks, &
teacher in service days.
• All deposits/fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
• A two weeks written notice is required upon
cancellation or you will be billed each month.
• If you sign up for a month that has already begun, you must pay for the
full month (NO PRO-RATING).
• Inappropriate behavior while waiting for, riding on, or departing a Boys
& Girls Club vehicle may result in suspension or termination of transportation
and membership.
• We accept Visa, American Express, & MasterCard.
• We accept automatic billing via credit card or through your bank. You may
request this at registration through our online form.
• Checks returned to us by the bank will incur a $25 charge.
Pricing - Per Day Packages
(does not reserve a spot for the school year)
*ONLY AVAILABLE AFTER GENERAL REGISTRATION HAS
ENDED (8/18/08) and IF SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE)
• After-School Enrichment will be $11 per day
(2 days @ $22, 3 days @ $33, & 4
days @ $44 - paid the week prior - 1 day only will not be offered)
• Early Bird will be $9 per day
(2 days @ $18, 3 days @ $27, & 4 days @ $36 - paid the
week prior - 1 day only will not be offered)
• After-School Enrichment & Early Bird combined will be $20 per day
(2 days @ $40, 3 days @ $60, & 4 days @
$80 - paid the week prior - 1 day only will not be offered)
• DOES NOT include holidays (when the club is open), snow
days, vacation weeks, & teacher in service days.
• DOES NOT reserve your child a spot for the year. New monthly registrations
will take precedence.
• Payments must be made the week prior to attendance. Payments will
be accepted online.
• All deposits/fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
• Your child will only be placed on the bus
list for days paid/registered for the week prior.
• Inappropriate behavior while waiting for, riding on, or departing a Boys
& Girls Club vehicle may result in suspension or termination of transportation
and membership.

Financial Aid:
• All financial aid applications must be submitted WITH REQUIRED PAPERWORK
at the time of registration.
• The club will not process requests that are missing forms or have incomplete
applications.
• Financial aid is first-come, first served. Late submissions
may not receive aid.
